In honor of National Library Week and National Poetry Month, we encourage you to stop by the Grayslake Library Atrium on Monday, April 9th, Tuesday, April 10th, and Wednesday, April 11th between 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM to create a “Poem in Your Pocket.” Create a beautiful origami pocket and tuck in a verse/stanza/couplet from your favorite poem. Original poems are also welcome. We will provide the materials we just need your creativity.
The “Poem[s] in Your Pocket” will be on display during National Library Week—Monday, April 9th through Friday, April 13th. Please participate. This is a wonderful chance to share poems you love and/or poems you have written.
