The Best View on Campus @CLC Library

The CLC Library sends a warm welcome to all new and returning students and faculty. It's so nice to have the campus full of students and teachers with the start of the fall semester.
Here are a few things that the library can do to make your life easier.

  • Why buy textbooks when you can borrow? Check out our wide range of reserve textbooks on the 1st floor of the library.

  • Tired of being stuck to a computer terminal? Check out laptops @CLC Library.

  • Does your back hurt lugging around all your books? We have business, paralegal, English Literature, and Spanish language Kindles pre-loaded with relevant titles. Check them out on the 1st floor of the library.

  • Scared of coming to the library becuase you have fines? Well, come by this week because we are forgiving ALL fines!

  • Need a book for the semester? Ask about our 4x4x4 circulation policy. Check out a book for 4 weeks, renew for another 4 weeks, and then you have an extra 4 weeks to get it back to us.

  • Need help with locating information for an assignment coming up? Stop by the reference desk on the 2nd floor. Our expert librarians can help you find books, articles, and so much more.

    Questions? E-mail us at librarian@clcillinois.edu or call (847) 843-5300.
And finally... a little librarian humor as we present you with Conan the Librarian!
