Michelle Carter (pictured top), faculty librarian, and Mary Ann Bretzlauf, English Instructor, were named the College of Lake County's recipients of the annual NISOD award. The award recognizes excellence in teaching and leadership in institutions of higher education. Michelle and Mary Ann are both strong advocates of the importance of library research skills (including critical thinking) for student success.
