The Murphy Library has received a LSTA grant from the Illinois State Library to purchase non-fiction materials to support CLC's childcare program and elementary education students.
The grant of $2500 will expand the children's collection in nonfiction areas such as earth science, gardening, and art while also expanding holdings in children’s literature.
We hope the materials will broaden and enrich programming within the Childcare Center, expand the Library’s resources, support curriculum development projects, and encourage children to become lifelong learners.
