Writing in the Electronic Age



A new book written by Carl Whithaus entitled Teaching and Evaluating Writing in the Age of Computers and High-Stakes Testing c2005, is now available at the Murphy Library.

from the back cover: Whithaus offers "a theoretical framework, actual case studies, and practical methods for evaluating student writing. Techniques stressed in the work include: interacting with students, describing the processes and products of student learning, situating pedagogy, and distributing assesment amongst diverse audiences."
