Short stories? Tiny stories!

Your assignment: write a short story with plot, characters, conflict, and resolution. Did I mention you only have 55 words? Sound like fun? This creative writing style is a great way to flex your design, language, and creative muscles.

The genre of 55 fiction began in 1987 when New Times publisher
Steve Moss held a short story contest where he limited entries to 55 words. The contest is still thriving and receives thousands of entries from around the world every year.
